Reuben - Stuck in My Throat (Drum Playthrough)

Reuben are very much the most under-estimated, under-respected, under-appreciated underdogs of modern rock music. They were actually musical genius'. Their three albums are jam packed with song after song that could all be equally considered to be lead singles. There is absolutely NO FILLER!
"Stuck in My Throat" is one of the singles from the first album (Racecar is Racecar Backwards) and is one of the heavier songs that feature on it.
I absolutely love it and I know it won't receive many views but that Double Paradiddle groove variation was too irresistible to ignore!

Dua Lipa - New Rules (Drum Playthrough)

I heard this song on the radio and instantly fell in love with the main drum part. The incredible way that the triplets push and pull the track and are replaced soon after by a group of semi quavers with the 3rd note rested, is in my opinion a beautifully crafted groove. Built with the intent of not only pushing and pulling the track around but to also have you questioning what you just heard. I love it!

Biffy Clyro - That Golden Rule (Drum Playthrough)

I love this song so much. The energy, the intensity and the incredibly well written parts, will always make this song one of my favorites. There is a serious lack of camera angles on this video due to a camera mishap. Even with only one angle, I think I've managed to just about pull it off!

A Celebration of My Students

I would say that I am very lucky when it comes to my clients. I always seem to get bookings from devoted, ambitious people, who are willing to put in lots of effort and time. As a result, many of my clients have taken exams to further their learning and have set attainable goals in mind. I have been teaching drums for many years and only very recently decided to keep a record of my students achievements. I have tracked down some of my students certificates but sadly I will never have a record of them all.

Below I have posted the ones I have managed to track down as a way to show just how great my students are!
